AT&T experts unearthed the new BotenaGo botnet, which leaked on GitHub last year. It could target 33 exploits affecting nearly 2 million routers and IoT devices. Experts also discovered several hacking tools—from several sources—in the same GitHub repository. The leak of such ready-to-use source code of BotenaGo could result in the further explosion of new malware variants.
